Our pets become a very important part of our lives so much that they become a member of our family. It's never easy to say goodbye to our pets, and as such we value their lives. They deserve to be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
The Calgary Humane Society is dedicated to providing the best care and comfort for your pets final voyage. We are dedicated to treating you and your pet with compassion, dignity and respect.
Saying Goodbye
Calgary Humane Society has provided cremation services for over 30 years to both the city of Calgary and surrounding areas. We provide services to veterinarians as well as the general public. We offer very competitive prices and do not charge GST. The Calgary Humane Society provide general cremations (group) and private cremations (individual). We offer a home pick-up service if required or you can bring your pets remains directly to us. We offer a range of urns and scatter boxes, as well we have our own in house serenity room to spend time with your companion prior to cremation.
All proceeds go directly back to the CHS to help us shelter the more than 8,500 homeless animals we care for each year.

Calgary Humane Society Memorial Gardens 
Our pets become a very important part of our lives, so much so they become a member of our family. Honoring our furry family members, past and present, is now possible with the Calgary Humane Society Memorial Gardens.
Sit under the shade of a tree planted in your pets’ memory and reflect on a life time of love and devotion in a tranquil setting. The wonderful feature garden will have benches located throughout the grounds where you can sit and relax.
The Memorial Gardens catalogue offers a variety of trees and shrubs to choose from that will be planted at the Calgary Humane Society. Your purchase will also include a small plaque that will be placed at the base of the tree or shrub.
