My Pet and Me – Friends for Life (OLD FAVOURITE!) Pre K – Gr. 2
Students discover the importance of providing necessary care for their pets through empathy building activities. By showing students engaging flashcards and reading the touching story of "Before You Were Mine", we elicit the similarities between human and animal emotions, behaviors and needs. We also discuss what pets need to be healthy and happy during our interactive felt board game and conclude a brief look at dog safety and dog bite prevention. Alberta Learning Curriculum Connections
Hot Dogs, Cool Canines (OLD FAVOURITE!) Gr. 1
This program focuses on the special seasonal needs of animals. Discussions include planning for vacation, dogs in hot cars, exercising, seasonal dangers and more. The interactive presentation includes a PowerPoint slide show and activity.

Wolf at the Water bowl (OLD FAVOURITE!) Gr. 1-3
This program explores the domestication of dogs. Students will explore the similarities between pet dogs and wild canines. Students will look at the history of dog breeds, and the care and needs of dogs. Presentation includes PowerPoint slide show, exhibits, and an interactive game. Tiger in your Kitchen (OLD FAVOURITE!) Gr. 1-3
This program explores the domestication of cats from tigers to tabbies. Students will explore the similarities between wild cats and domestic cats, and learn how to be responsible cat caretakers.
