Kids 4 Animals Magazine
Learn about animals and the Calgary Humane Society in a fun new way!
Kids 4 Animals Magazine has been developed for kids between the ages of 8-13 and is a great way to learn more about animal welfare issues. It also celebrates kid’s accomplishments on becoming humane hero’s in their community.
The magazine includes:
- Feature articles on current animal welfare issues in the local news and across Canada
- A "Creature Feature" including fun facts about local species
- An "Ask the Vet" column where kids can ask medical questions
- "Humane Hero's" tribute page describing what kids have done to help a local SPCA, Humane Society or Animal Rescue organization. Stories will include fundraising, volunteering and raising awareness within their schools communities.
- "My Pets" page where children can send in pictures, paintings and poems of their furry friends to highlight responsible pet care
- "Animal related games, quizzes, and contests
- Interviews with local animal friendly celebrities
NEWS: The next issue of Kids 4 Animals will be out September of 2010.
