Birthday Parties

Have your next birthday party at the Calgary Humane Society!  We offer parties for kids ages 6 -13 at our South East location. Birthday Parties are two hours long and make use of a decorated party room with an age appropriate theme.

The Details

Themes offered:

• Ages 6-7: CHS Critter Care
• Ages 8-10: Pet Detectives
• Ages 11-13: Animal ER

Parties include:

• A tour of our Facility
• A Cool Creative Craft
• Interactive Animal Games
• A Special Animal Guest

We are able to accommodate a maximum of 20 party guests and require a 5:1 ratio of kids to adults.  The cost for a party is $150.00 and includes a special thank you for the birthday child.

Please note:  We recommend booking at least three weeks in advance to ensure that space is available.  If you are collecting donations for the animals at your party please let us know at the time of booking.  At this time we are booking for Saturday or Sunday mornings from (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) and afternoons (1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Donations

Do you want to help out the Calgary Humane Society pets?  Here are some ideas other children have done for their parties:

• Toonies for Tabbies - Have guests bring a toonie to donate to the animals at the Calgary Humane Society.
• Collect donations in lieu of birthday presents for the animals – collect cash donations or bring in something from our Wish List for the animals.

Please note: We are only able to issue a tax receipt to the original donor.  If you are collecting donations from your guests and they would like a tax receipt, please record their name and address on the linked form and submit with the donation.
