Adopt a second cat within 60 days of your initial adoption for a reduced fee of $80.
Patient Paw cats available for Adoption by Donation (Minimum of $50 donation required). Optional medical procedures including dentals and Felv/FIV tests not included in Adoption by Donation price and must be paid for in full.
Cat adoption fees include:
- First vaccine
- First deworming treatment
- Health exam at the Shelter
- Complimentary health exam at a participating veterinary clinic
- Microchip and/or tattoo
- Information on how to care for your adopted cat
- Spay/neuter surgery
- Optional complimentary pet insurance for 6 weeks after adoption
- Access to our behaviour helpline
- Free six-month cat licence (Calgary area only)
Total Value Received: approximately $700
Please note: Adoption fee may also include surgery or treatment that is mandatory for the animal's good health, ie: mandatory dental work.
Dogs
Fees
Puppies (under 7 months) $479 - includes registration in Precocious Puppies, an ongoing class for puppies ages 8-20 weeks. Training starts after your puppies second set of vaccines.
Adult (7 months to 6 years) $229
Seniors (7 years and older) $155
Patient Paw dogs available for adoption by donation (minimum of $50 donation required). Mandatory Behaviour classes and optional medical treatments including dentals not included in Adoption by Donation price and must be paid for in full.
*You may notice that our dogs also have required dog classes. These classes are tailored to the needs of your newly adopted dog to assist with the transition of moving into their new home. Fees for classes range from $162.00 - $400.00 depending on the class required. All required classes must be paid for at the time of adoption.

- Information on how to care for your adopted rabbit
- Help with questions about the adopted animal
Exotics
Health exam at shelter included for small animals, birds and exotics
