Camp Fur, Fins & Feathers!
Camp sign up for Summer 2013 will begin on February 4th, 2013!
Camp Fur, Fins and Feathers is a place where kids connect with animals. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for children to interact and learn about the animals that share our world. An enthusiastic staff of instructors and friendly animals give your child an enriching experience filled with hands-on animal encounters, fun activities, and crafts. As they have fun, campers learn respect, compassion, and how to provide a lifetime of care for animals. Camp Fur, Fins and Feathers campers will learn through developmentally appropriate activities, games and discussions. Campers will be grouped for activities based on the grade they are currently in. Camp activities include educational explorations, fun games, creative crafts and animal interactions designed to keep young minds engaged and busy.
LEFT: Campers interact with a rabbit at Camp Fur, Fins and Feathers. Rabbits, like many prey species do not enjoy being picked up. All animal interactions at camp focus on showing campers how to respect each animal species and the individual likes and dislikes of the animals they meet.
