Humane Education
Humane education enables young people to find solutions that work for all by approaching human rights, environmental preservation, and animal protection as interconnected and integral dimensions of a healthy, just society. The Humane Education Department’s school programs are approximately one hour in length and were developed as an educational resource to support teachers in meeting their curriculum objectives. As educators of responsible pet ownership, empathy and violence prevention, we promote the development of emotional and social intelligence by offering quality programs at the shelter or in the classroom

The goal of the Kids for Animals Club is to learn as much as possible about animals. The more we know, the better were able to be their friends. We believe in the humane treatment of all animals. |
