All about Snoop

Snoop is a 1 year, 3 months old male American Pit Bull Terrier/Mix who weighs 29 pounds.

Snoop is currently staying with a foster family, please contact the Adoption Department at adopt@calgaryhumane.ca if you wish to be added to the waitlist for this animal. We work on a first come first serve basis, and will set up meet and greets with interested adopters in the order we receive them. Our team will be in contact with you as soon as possible to update you on where we are in the meet and greet process of the animal you are interested in. Hi my name is Snoop and my foster mom has dubbed me the ‘Gentle Giant', I'm just a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and give kisses. I love the good things in life like naps, walks and food, oh boy do I love food! I'm a quick learner, and would love for my new forever home to spend time teaching me fun tricks. I'm a very curious boy, but can be a bit nervous sometimes. I'm less nervous with slow introductions, and of course some treat motivation always makes it easier for me. I love other dogs, running, playing and spending lots of time outside napping in the sun.

I have done well with other dogs, cats and kids in my foster home, so I might do well with your resident pets and kids, too! The amazing Adoptions team at CHS will provide you with all the important information for the best possible introductions! I will need a family who can be patient and take time to help me feel safe - when I'm comfortable I do the best "puppy zoomies". Could I be YOUR pup? Make an appointment to meet me today!

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
