Hi there! It's me - the mighty Hercules! I am a handsome and intelligent boy! The staff here say I am friendly, food motivated, and love to learn! I am still a young boy working hard at improving my skills at walking nicely on leash and being calm around people. To be successful in my new home, I will need plenty of mental and physical enrichment - the team here can give you some suggestions, and I'd probably do amazing in some more structured training classes as well. My history is a bit of mystery, but my previous owner did note that I have struggled with fear my food with be taken away (food guarding) and discomfort when my people leave me alone (separation stress). The shelter team are not sure to what extent I would display these behaviors in home, but I would love a family who is prepared to help me work on this. The shelter team will be here to support us the whole way. I may do well with dogs - we can set up a playdate to find out, but due to my size and rambunctious nature, I likely would do better with older humans only - preteens, teens or adults only please! I'm ready to be your hero, and you'll be mine if you take me home, so come get me please!
