Today on the blog we have a quick shout out to one of the awesome programs we offer here at CHS: The Canine Challenge!
Is your dog already an obedience pro? Have you and your pooch mastered the finer points of sit, down and stay? Looking for a challenge after completing basic obedience? We’ve got a class for you!
The Canine Challenge is a step up from basic obedience and a great option for keeping your dog’s brain busy this spring. Learn more advanced obedience commands, fun tricks and all of the skills you need to pass the Canine Good Neighbour test! Canine Good Neighbour certification is a Canadian program that rewards responsible owners and well-behaved canines. Dogs who pass the Canine Good Neighbour exam can be counted on to have good manners at home, in the community and around other dogs. All dogs who complete the Canine Challenge course at CHS have the option of testing for the Canine Good Neighbour certification for an extra fee.
Attending classes regularly with your dog not only teaches them skills, but also gives your canine companion some much-needed mental recreation. Keeping your pet’s brain and paws busy all year round is a great way to ensure your pet has a good quality of life. Classes also build a stronger bond between you and your dog by helping you set aside some quality time each day to work on the skills you are being taught.
Interested? Registration is open NOW and classes begin THIS WEDNESDAY (May 27th). Call 403-723-6019 or view our classes HERE for more information or to get registered! We would LOVE to see you there!
