Christmas for the Animals
Stuff-A-Pooch Pad: December 7-19
Help bring Christmas to the animals still waiting for a home!
The Stuff-A-Pooch Pad campaign presented by Pet Planet helps bring Christmas to the animals waiting in our shelter.
Every year, thousands of animals come to Calgary Humane Society for a second chance at a happy life. The shelter operates 24/7/365 with all efforts going towards caring for all of the animals. On Christmas day we often have hundreds of animals who are without a permanent home of their own, who need to spend the holidays in our shelter. To help make their stay more comfortable, we created a campaign to stuff a pooch pad from the floor to ceiling with donations from the public. The campaign was such a success that it has become an annual fixture in the shelter. Our staff and volunteers get so excited to bring gifts to the animals on Christmas day and your donations give these animals hope that this Christmas will be the last they spend in a shelter.
We say this a lot, but we cannot thank you enough for being a supporter of Calgary Humane Society. We are so grateful for your love and support for all of the animals.
Would you like to donate to the Stuff-a-Pooch Pad Campaign? Just follow the steps below:
View our wishlist and get an idea of what items we are currently in need of.
Do some shopping! This is the fun part where you get to gather up the items you wish to donate to Calgary Humane Society. When you shop at the Calgary Humane Society Pet Gear Store, you are supporting the shelter in two ways as all proceeds from the Pet Gear Store go to supporting the animals in our care.
Bring your donations to the shelter and stuff a pooch pad from December 7th – 19th. On December 20th we will unload the items and package them up into gifts for the animals to open on Christmas day! Unable to come to the shelter? Bring your donations to any Calgary and area Pet Planet location.
With your generous support, we are hoping to fill three pooch pads from the floor to the ceiling. It is a tall task, but with your help, we can make this Christmas unforgettable for hundreds of animals!
Unstuffing a Pooch Pad takes many hands!
