A walk or jog to end animal cruelty.

Greetings! We thank you for visiting to our Dog Jog page. As of March 26th, we have an update for our valued CHS community.

As always, we take the safety of our supporters, volunteers, staff and animals very seriously. We are diligently monitoring and following all appropriate medical advice to ensure maximum safety at the Dog Jog. We are dedicated to ensuring that all extra safety precautions are taken.

Dog Jog is a very important event for Calgary Humane Society as it helps fund life-saving programs for cruelty prevention, humane education, protection, rehabilitation and, ultimately, a new beginning for animals in need. In an effort to provide an alternate option to participate for those who would prefer to avoid public events, we will be introducing a virtual experience for our participants at this year’s Dog Job. Although we won’t be gathering at Glenmore Park on June 6th due to social distancing protocols, we will be gathering all participants together later in the summer to celebrate everyone’s achievements!

Stay tuned for more information on how to experience Dog Jog virtually, and how you can help the animals during these uncertain times.

In 2019, you helped raise over $140,000 for the animals.

These funds provided care for over 4,300 animals in 2019 alone.
