Hi everyone, it’s me, Duke!
I can’t believe it, but it’s almost here! This is the last week to buy your tickets to Cocktails for Critters!
I told you a few weeks ago that I was a little dog with a big dream: I’m out to change the world. I see a future where no animal experiences cruelty, abuse or neglect. I see a future where no more homeless animals is not just a dream, but a reality. Most importantly? I see a future where every animal is safe and loved. I know I can’t do this alone, but together, we can make this future happen.
I set a goal to sell out Cocktails for Critters. Tickets are selling fast, but we still have some available! If you have been waiting to buy a ticket now is the time to act! Remember: Every ticket sold helps Calgary Humane Society provide care to animals just like me. Without the support of people like you and the money raised from events like Cocktails for Critters I never would have gotten the surgery I desperately needed to become healthy and active.
Thanks to events like Cocktails for Critters and all of the amazing supporters of Calgary Humane Society, I’m enjoying a year of ‘firsts’. I’ve already told you about some of them! This year was the first time I could play in the leaves and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. This year will be my first chance to chase snowflakes (my mom already bought me a jacket to keep me warm!). This year will be my very first holiday season with a family who loves me.
My incredible second chance was only made possible by people like you.
Join me on November 6th at Hotel Arts as we party for a purpose and celebrate another amazing year of saving lives. I will be rocking my new physique and showing off my best sashay on the runway in an incredible fashion show featuring amazing looks from Espy. Joining me in this stylish showcase will be some of Calgary’s most popular celebrities, including my friends Tara Nelson and The Style Guys!
There is still time to get your ticket! Tickets are available online HERE!
I can’t wait to meet you all on the big day! Together, we’ll show the world what a whole lot of people (and dogs!) with big hearts can do.
