Adopt From Foster Form Here’s what you can expect from the AFF process: To minimize stress, we start with a virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams. This allows you to see the animal in a comfortable environment. You will meet the animal, their foster parent, and an Adoption Counselor. If you choose to move forward after the virtual visit, we will coordinate an in-person meeting at our shelter. If you have a dog at home, a second in-person visit for introductions may be required. During your final in-person visit, you will complete the adoption paperwork and take home your new furry friend! Adoption Policy Reminder Adopters are prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis. While we do our best to accommodate your schedule, we may move to the next applicant if you are not ready to proceed within a few days. Upon completion of this form, if you are first in line we will reach out to you with 1 -2 business days. Otherwise, we will contact you as soon as you are next in line.
