Meet Zuri

All about Zuri
Animal ID: 2000164469

Zuri is a 2 years, 8 months old female Great Pyrenees/Mix who weighs 70 pounds.

**Zuri is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**

Zuri is a sweet and playful girl with so much love to share and a personality that shines once she feels comfortable!
Zuri can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but with patience and a gentle approach, her affectionate side begins to come through. She enjoys spending time with her people, going for walks, and exploring the world at her own pace. She's also housetrained and has previously shown lovely leash manners!
Zuri is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and enjoy all the love and attention for herself. While she has a playful side, she has struggled with sharing her space and valued belongings with other animals, so a pet-free home will help set her up for success. She can also become overwhelmed in certain situations and would benefit from a patient family who can respect her boundaries, provide predictable routines, and continue building her confidence through positive reinforcement.
With the right environment, understanding, and plenty of love, Zuri has the opportunity to settle in, feel secure, and show her future family just how special she is. She's ready for a fresh start and a home where she can truly thrive!

A little bit about Zuri:
Kids: Has previously lived with children and may do well with respectful children who understand canine body language and appropriate interactions. All interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult.
Cats/Small Animals: No cats or other small animals in the home due to a history of resource guarding.
Dogs: Must be the only dog in the home.
May need some extra guidance navigating interactions with other dogs and unfamiliar people.
