Named for a light, rich, fluffy and buttery pastry, meet Brioche! This big-hearted pup has been described by his foster family as sweet, calm and attentive. Cuddling is his favourite thing - plenty of cozy movie nights or lazy weekend mornings are in your future if you bring this boy home! Cuddles are truly Brioche's main motivation; he LOVES to be by his people and affiliates quickly. On walks, Brioche enjoys long strolls to explore all the smells! He's eager to please, and while other animals can be distracting, he's very good at listening with a little patience and treats. We've learned that Brioche is an excellent running and hiking partner as well! Trusting new people can take Brioche some time - it's important to make friends at his pace, but once you are buddies, you'll be best buddies! He absolutely adores pets and scritches and will poke his face into your hand for more! Brioche can stay home alone without issue, and when you come back, he'll have a huge smile on his face to greet you! He can get a bit overexcited, but if you're calm, he will catch on quick. His manners are coming along and he responds very well to "sit", "stay", and "back" with little hand gestures to help. Brioche has been quite stressed here in shelter and is having a hard time showing his calm side - he hopes you'll give him a chance to go home and see how nice he can be! As soft and delightful as a brioche bun and guaranteed to last a lot longer - is Brioche the boy for you?
