Introducing Phoebe, a wonderful adolescent dog who has rapidly blossomed from a nervous soul into playful, spunky and loving pup! Phoebe was found as a stray with other dogs and was initially very timid. To help her gain confidence, she headed off to foster, and within a few days, she was enthusiastically tossing her toys around and finding her voice! Phoebe is now learning her name, working on basic manners, and gaining confidence around giving and receiving affection. She can still be timid on car rides and walks, and would value a foster family who can work at her pace to help her gain the confidence she needs. Phoebe has shown some signs of discomfort when left on her own, so a home that can gradually work her up to longer absences would be a benefit for her. Although she might be shy, Phoebe is still an adolescent dog - be ready for lots of playtime and brain games to keep Phoebe happy and enriched.
