Meet Mahina, a gentle young dog whose name means "moon". Found as a stray, Mahina can be a little shy at first, but with time, patience, and a few tasty treats, he begins to orbit closer and let his sweet personality shine through. He's food motivated and shows real promise with positive-reinforcement training. Mahina was found alongside other dogs and may do well in a home with a calm, confident canine companion to help guide him. He's looking for a peaceful, understanding home where he can move at his own pace and grow from a quiet crescent into the full, bright companion he's meant to be. If you're ready to give Mahina the space and support he needs to rise, he just might be your buddy!
