Erika is a quiet, curious little cat who's learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Each day she grows a little braver, and she's making wonderful progress in her foster home. Her favorite hideaway is a cozy blanket fort she's claimed as her own while her humans are out-but when you're home, she's all about companionship.

Working from home? Erika will curl up beside you, keeping you company while you type away. She especially loves a good belly rub when she feels safe and relaxed. She'll even cuddle up with you in bed for a while-though, like many cats, Erika tends to get a burst of energy at night! Because she's quite active after dark, she currently does best sleeping in a separate area so everyone gets a good night's rest.

Don't let her soft side fool you-Erika has a playful, confident streak that's really starting to shine. She's honing her inner huntress and gets especially excited chasing feathers on a flirt pole. Her aim is getting impressively accurate, and her pouncing form is top-notch.

Erika enjoys her independence and is content to entertain herself when you're busy. She's shown interest in the resident dog in her foster home, though the dog isn't too sure about a cat friend just yet-so Erika would likely do well in a home with calm, respectful dogs or as your one-and-only.

If you're looking for a quiet, affectionate companion with a playful side and a heart full of potential, Erika might just be your perfect match. She's looking for a patient adopter who can give her the time and space to continue building confidence-and in return, she'll offer soft cuddles, quirky antics, and lots of love.
