As a stray, it's unknown what Sadie Mae has lived through, but we've found that she quickly warms up to gentle, patient humans, and then never wants to leave their side! Her ideal home would be willing to help her slowly work on her confidence and give her the space she needs to settle in! Sadie isn't comfortable being left alone at this time and experiences separation stress, so she's seeking a family where someone can be home with her during the day, and introduce absences slowly. (A quiet, dog-friendly office environment may also be an option.) Tasty treats, long walks together, and fetch bring out Sadie Mae's joyful side and with a little patience, she'll be coming up to you for all of the love she can get. Fast movements and loud noises can be intimidating though, so she may do better without any tiny humans. If you're patient, desperately need an office dog, and would love to add a smart and sensitive pup to your family, then Sadie Mae is the one for you!
