Say hello to Happy, a sweet and shy Abysssinian guinea pig who's looking for a calm and caring forever home. Happy loves spending time tucked away in his cozy shelters, where he can feel safe and secure. He's a bit nervous with handling right now, but with patience, gentle encouragement, and consistent interaction, he has the potential to become more confident over time. Happy's ideal setup includes a roomy enclosure with solid flooring, soft bedding, and lots of hiding spots. He'll need unlimited hay, a variety of fresh greens, a small amount of pellets, and clean water each day to stay healthy. Enrichment like tunnels, chew toys, and safe items to explore will keep his curious mind engaged. Happy arrived with his brother Panda and they enjoy playing together during daily floor time at the shelter, although they are currently housed separately. Panda and Happy would love to go to a forever home together, although they are also available to be adopted on their own. With the right support, Happy will truly shine.
