Meet Mikey, a super friendly and social bearded dragon who came to us through no fault of his own! This charming guy loves hanging out on shoulders and spending time with his people. Mikey is currently overweight, so he'll need a gradual weight-loss plan overseen by an experienced exotic vet to help him stay trim, fit, and healthy for years to come.

Mikey also has some mild dental disease, which is something bearded dragons can be prone to. His future family should plan to discuss dental care with their reptile veterinarian to help keep his mouth healthy and prevent problems down the road. Our adoption counsellors can provide more information and suggestions on how you and your vet can work together on his oral hygiene.

Mikey's ideal setup includes a spacious tank with a basking spot, UVB lighting, proper heating, and plenty of branches and hides. He'll also enjoy plenty of enrichment like supervised out-of-tank time, safe exploration, and interactive feeding.

This gentle, shoulder-loving dragon is ready to bring his big personality into a home that can support his health journey and shower him with love!
