Having come to the shelter through no fault of her own, this pretty girl has shown that it takes her some time to warm up to new people, and isn't a very big fan of men. She is very good, however, about her boundaries and will give a low growl to say if you're moving too fast! That's why Stella is hoping to find a home with people that know how to read dog body language and can offer her the space she needs to settle in.

Once Stella has gotten to know you better, that's when you'll get to see how sweet, affectionate, and lovely she can be! She'll be sure to stick by your side and likes to be a part of the team. It was even noted that she did great with the children in her previous family, but all interactions with kids should always be supervised by an adult because of her nervousness to strangers.
