Meet Maverick. He's trying his hardest, but shelter life can be stressful and Maverick isn't entirely living up to his name here. He's a very sweet, playful, food motivated and energetic guy, but loud noises, new people, and dogs are all a touch too scary for him so it's been hard to put his best paw forward here. We think Maverick would absolutely thrive in a quiet home with plenty of time for playtime! He'd love a catio, and might enjoy learning some tricks (in return for some tasty treats!). Maverick has demonstrated stress around other animals and would likely be best as the only cat in your home. But look at that handsome face; why would you need anyone else?
