Braunnie is a 3 years old male Golden Retriever/Mix who weighs 110 pounds.

Meet Braunnie, a happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever with a heart as big as his wiggly body! This affectionate boy absolutely adores people and greets his friends with full-body wiggles and a toy proudly carried in his mouth.

Braunnie has previously lived with children and enjoys being around his people. Because he's a big, enthusiastic guy who likes to hold things in his mouth when he gets excited, he would do best in a home with older kids who can recognize when he needs space to relax.

Braunnie arrived at the shelter with another large-breed dog and may be able to share his home with a canine companion after a successful introduction at the shelter. He has no history with cats and small animals, so any introductions should be done gradually with close supervision!

This sweet boy is still learning his manners and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and behaviour support, especially as he works on improving his bite inhibition. He's already making great progress and has started muzzle training as part of his learning journey.
