Ella is a 2 years, 1 month old female Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 7 pounds.

This lovely girl has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. While new people and unfamiliar environments can still feel overwhelming to her, those lucky enough to earn her trust discover a sweet, affectionate cat hiding beneath her shy exterior.

Ella prefers to take things at her own pace. In foster care, she started out spending most of her time tucked away in her safe spot, but with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, her true personality began to emerge. Once comfortable, she would come out to greet her foster parent, rub against their legs, purr happily during scritches, and even roll over for belly rubs. Her head bonks have been described as legendary!

As her confidence grew, Ella also discovered the joy of play. She enjoys batting around toys, chasing ping pong balls, and having playful zoomies around the room. Watching her blossom has been incredibly rewarding.

Ella is looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to settle in and feel secure. She may be nervous at first, but adopters who are willing to let her build trust at her own pace will be rewarded with a loving, loyal companion.
