Old Mrs. Figg is a 13 years old female Pomeranian/Mix who weighs 11 pounds.

Old Mrs. Figg may not have any teeth left, but she still has plenty of love to give! Named after the quirky Harry Potter character, this sweet senior Pomeranian somehow found herself wandering as a stray in her golden years. Now, she's hoping for her next chapter to be filled with love, cuddles and cozy napping spots!

Mrs. Figg is quite fearful in the loud, unpredictable shelter, but she is quick to come out of her shell when she's in a calm, quiet home. During her stays with staff, she proved herself to be house trained, laidback, and an excellent house guest! She has done very well in the company of other senior, low-energy dogs and may be able to coexist with a respectful cat. Young, loud children are probably a no-go, but Mrs. Figg could be okay with older, respectful kids who can watch her body language. She asks that you please do NOT pick her up as snuggles are meant to be shared on the ground where she is most comfortable.

At her age, regular veterinary care will be important. She is suspected to have early kidney disease and her future adopters should be prepared for frequent vet visits and repeat bloodwork every 3-6 months to watch for progression of this chronic condition. This means that she may also require medication and/or a special diet in the future to keep her as happy and healthy as possible.

After her mysterious history of adventures, all Mrs. Figg wants now is a quiet place to rest her paws and a family to love and cherish her for the rest of her life. Can that be with you?
