Taz is a sensitive young boy who is having a difficult time adjusting to the shelter environment. Right now, he prefers the safety of a cozy hiding spot and can be unsure of new people and unfamiliar situations.
While Taz may communicate his discomfort when he feels overwhelmed, he has also shown signs that he wants to connect. Given time and a gentle approach, he has accepted neck scratches and has begun to lean into affection when he feels comfortable enough to do so.

Taz would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace and learn that he is safe. A quieter environment will allow his confidence to grow and help his true personality emerge.
