Haru requires a diet of quality gerbil pellets, with fresh vegetables and occasional seeds or grains for variety. While Haru appreciates having a place to hide, she doesn't shy away from time to play in her playpen! Haru's cage should be large, escape-proof, and filled with deep bedding for burrowing, along with tunnels, wheels, and chew toys for enrichment. Daily playtime outside the cage on a safe surface, along with sand baths and toys, will keep her active, healthy, and happy!
