Meet Quiche, the adorable little coturnix quail found all alone as a stray! Quiche's foster family said that she is the most chill, easygoing quail and is super amenable to handling despite her unknown past! When there are loud noises, such as the vacuum, she won't even be bothered to move a muscle. Two of her favourite activities are eating and rolling around in her sand bath! Quiche has an incredible appetite and will voraciously eat any vegetable you give her. Her love for sandbathing can cause quite the mess in her enclosure, so her foster parents have come up with a genius alternative that they call "The Sandbox", which is simply just a cardboard box with a dish full of sand inside so she can fling to her heart's content. Besides a healthy diet and a spot for bathing, Quiche is looking for a home that can also provide a large enclosure to forage in with plenty of hiding spots and toys to keep her enriched. Due to her social nature, we think Quiche would also enjoy having another quail friend or even a flock to befriend! Make sure to do extra research to help you decide if a quail would be the right pet for your family. Quiche is ready and waiting to zip her way into your heart and home!
