Meet Skittle

All about Skittle
Animal ID: 2000491515

Skittle is a unknown Budgie/Budgerigar bird.

Candy season is upon us and what better way to celebrate than by taking home a colourful, candy-themed avian beauty (or 2 or 3 or 4!). Meet our budgie crew - Twizzler, Candy Corn, Double Bubble, Jolly Rancher, Sour Patch Kid, Gummy Bear, Jelly Bean, Skittle, Nerds, and Starburst! Their colourful plumage and sweet song will be delighting you long after the last jawbreaker has dissolved and the candy corn has gone stale. Budgies are cheerful, social and intelligent birds. They thrive when they can enjoy lots of enrichment and destructive toys, and are happiest living in groups. They are guaranteed to fill your home with song, and bring much needed levity to your day. If you have a spacious cage, plenty of perches, and fun things to rip, shred and destroy, then our candy crew would love to meet you! Adopt a single budgie to even out the numbers in your flock at home, or adopt a few budgies and start a new flock! Most of the budgies currently in our care have previously lived together, and will likely do well together in the future! Visit us at Calgary Humane today and bring some more birdsong to your life!
