Every cat is special, but some cats are so special you remember them forever! Meet Ghost! Our shelter team first met this extra special kitty in 2021 and we never forgot the gentle, timid tabby with the tough guy exterior and scared, sweet marshmallow middle! Not to mention his gorgeous silver stripes and eyeliner that could make anyone jealous! He has a snow white tummy and paws, but he won't just show those to anyone. While we are sad that Ghost is back in our care, we are so proud of the progress he has made since his last stay. Although Ghost is still a very nervous boy, his circle of shelter friends has expanded and he's working hard on overcoming his fears! Like other shy cats, it can take Ghost awhile to find confidence in new situations or around new people. He is not one to jump into new relationships and needs time getting to know someone, but toys and treats certainly help! A calm home with predictable routines, cozy hiding spots and patient humans will give Ghost the confidence to show off his true self - a sweet, cuddly, playful and chatty lap cat!
