Bessie is deaf, but that doesn't slow her down one bit-she's curious, food-motivated, and loves connecting with people through touch, treats, and eye contact. She's learning how to navigate the world with confidence and will thrive in a home that understands how to communicate with a deaf dog, using hand signals, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement. She may enjoy having a dog friend to share adventures with.

Bessie has lots of energy and loves to go for walks, though she's a strong puller and needs a sturdy harness and patient handling while building her leash manners. She's also on a hypoallergenic diet due to some food sensitivities, so her new family will need to continue that to keep her healthy and happy.
