Meet Elinor, a thoughtful little cat who just needs a beat or two to get her bearings-then she's all in. While she might hang back at first in a new space, it doesn't take long for her love of scritches to kick in and her playful, curious personality to emerge. Whether she's chasing a toy or investigating a new nook, Elinor is quickly discovering that the world isn't so scary after all.

She came to the shelter with several other cats and may enjoy having a feline companion in her forever home. Elinor is a great match for someone who appreciates a cat with a bit of an independent streak-but who also knows how to soak up affection once the trust is there.

Elinor does have a grade 2 heart murmur, which hasn't needed treatment so far. Our Adoptions Team would be happy to chat about what that means for her care.
