Introducing Ms Mina, a former momma cat who took great care of her babies and is now ready to live a responsibility-free life. She arrived at the shelter through no fault of her own and her background is a bit of a mystery. During her stay in the shelter and in her foster home, we learned that she can be a bit wary of new people and was still learning how cats can have fun. Lo and behold - after a few weeks, her foster parent caught her playing with toys for the first time in the middle of the night! With some gentle encouragement and patience, she's also learning to enjoy scritches from time to time.

As a domestic longhair mix, she will need some help maintaining her fabulous floof (at the moment, she is rocking a fabulous lion cut). Daily brushing can help her avoid future matting and using a lick mat with some yummy treats can make it an easy and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Mina is a bit nervous with new people and will likely need a home that can give her plenty space and gentle encouragement for her to come out of her shell. Could that home be with you?
