Koda is a 10 years, 9 months old female Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 7 pounds.

Koda means friend, and she wants to be your friend!! This sweet senior lady wants nothing more than cuddle! Her foster family tells us that she wants nothing more than to be where the people are and is always happiest when she's near you or (even better) on top of you! Koda prefers the quiet life and would be an ideal friend for someone living alone who wants a snuggly companion, or a relaxed household with no other cats. In her previous home, Koda was experiencing stress related to the other cats she was living with, so her loving family made the decision to bring her to CHS so she could find a home where she would be happier. Like many older cats, Koda likes to set some boundaries around petting time, and she can get a bit overwhelmed and mouthy when people are petting her roughly. As long as you are patient and give her time to settle in, Koda has successfully done well with adults, older children, and even polite dogs. She's currently looking for a cat free home so she can be your number one! And lest you think Koda is all cuddles and no play, this lovely girl is not above a good game of chase, and even has experience using a cat wheel! To help Koda find her people, her adoption fee has been covered, so there's no reason not to come fall in love today!
