After being surrendered through no fault of her own, we noticed that Lily was finding the shelter life much too stressful. Thankfully, her lovely foster parent took a chance on her, and now after spending a few weeks in her foster home, this timid girl has truly begun to blossom again! At first, Lily spent her days hiding and feeling fearful. With patience, space, and plenty of understanding from her wonderful foster parent, she has slowly rediscovered that the world can be a safe place. Now, Lily explores, enjoys pets, plays, and proudly shows off her purr! She even sleeps at the foot of her foster parent's bed! One of her many quirks is her tendency to pounce on her human's feet, which both her previous owner and current foster parent have reported. We're not quite sure what this is all about yet - perhaps it is just her Bengal cattitude - but socks or slippers might be a good idea! Lily is still a shy, particular girl and it will take her time to settle again in a new environment. For this reason, she's looking for a calm, quiet, cat experienced home - ideally without children. A family who has previously owned Bengals or who has done lots of research would be awesome! She has lived with cats and dogs in the past, but was not a fan of them, so she'd like to be your one-and-only. A dedicated room with her necessities will help her feel secure as she continues building confidence. She loves a good cat tree, especially if it has a little hidey hole for her to decompress in! When unsure, Lily may hiss or growl to communicate, but she means no harm.It has been so rewarding to see and hear about all of Lily's progress, and now that she's starting to feel like herself again, we think she's ready to find her forever home!
