Meet Reese

All about Reese
Animal ID: 2000493853

Reese is a 5 months old unknown Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat.

*If you are interested in our working cats, email our Adoptions Team at adopt@calgaryhumane.ca for more information. Please do not book an appointment through the scheduling link!*

Meet one of our working cats, Reese! This cat was found as a stray on a rural property and has had little to no human socialization before. Because Reese is nervous around people, we are seeking a family who can offer a cozy outbuilding (think barn, shop, garage or warehouse) where he/she can set up their home base. In exchange for shelter and daily fresh food and water, this kitty will put their skills to work keeping rodents out of your space! Reese was found with some of our other barn kitties - Alex, Parker & Jamie - and would either love to find a home with one of them or find one with an existing barn cat to show him/her the ropes. Calgary Humane ensures our working cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy. We are committed to supporting you as you help your new colleague-cat settle in! If you've ever considered adopting a working cat or barn cat, this might be the time! Reach out to us to learn more!

*Please note that this cat's age and sex will not be known/confirmed until they are sedated for their surgery and physical exam.*

Note that many cats do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the cat's current weight.
