Meet Bugs

All about Bugs
Animal ID: 2000496458

Bugs is a 10 years old female Domestic Longhair/Mix cat who weighs 7 pounds.

Meet our sweet senior Bugs! This beautiful older lady was surrendered to us through no fault of her own, and is finding the shelter to be a little bit overwhelming after living in the same home for her whole life. Even though she is nervous, she has been incredibly resilient and gentle, and is very loving when you get to know her. Bugs was described as being the perfect companion in her previous home! She had excellent scratching and litterbox skills, and would occasionally get a case of the zoomies! Her previous owner also mentioned that when she wants to play or get your attention, Bugs can get a bit chatty, but we have not yet seen that here. In new situations and with new people, she will get scared and hide, but there are a few ways you can try to gain her trust! She loves scratches under the chin and behind her ears, and she also loves to be brushed, which is very important as a long-haired cat! If you have the patience to wait for all of her quirks to come out, please come say hello to Bugs today.
