Bear is a 4 months old male German Shepherd/Mix who weighs 24 pounds.

Age: 4.5 months

Meet Bear, a sweet fluffy "teddy bear" of a puppy! Bear came to our shelter as an injured stray, and spent some time in foster healing. He's a lovely puppy who adores snuggles and will happily crawl into your lap for a nap (who says big dogs can't be lap dogs?). Like any young pup, Bear is still learning about the world and will need ample enrichment and exercise, as well as supervision, to ensure he grows up happy, healthy and strong. Bear does take some time to trust new people, and may be a bit overwhelmed by invasive or rough petting, but with a little patience and treats, he'll quickly warm up and show off the loving, loyal personality that will make him a cherished companion for life!

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
