Mulberry is a small-breed adolescent dog who's still learning how to feel safe in the world. He came from a difficult background and is currently very nervous about being touched. While he's not ready for close handling yet, he's shown that he can find joy in play-he absolutely loves his toys and will happily entertain himself with them. Finding a toy you and Mulberry can play with together might be a great first step in making friends. And like any pup, he loves his treats!

Mulberry will need a quiet, patient home with people who are willing to go at his pace and let him build trust slowly. He's not the kind of dog who's ready for affection or adventure right away, but with time and consistency, he will settle in and feel more confident.

If you have experience with shy dogs or are willing to learn, Mulberry could be a good fit. He's not looking for a lot-just space, safety, and a few good toys.
