Meet Chewie: a gentle mini-giant who just wants to love you! Chewie is a Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his fluffy frame. He's a sweet, soulful boy who absolutely adores people-if you're nearby, he's happy. Whether it's leaning into you for a cuddle, resting his head in your lap, or quietly keeping you company, Chewie is all about connection.

He's been a shining star at our kids' camps, where he's shown just how gentle, patient, and friendly he is. With his calm energy and loving nature, he's quickly become a favourite among campers and staff alike. This big lovebug thrives in a calm, affectionate environment and would be a wonderful addition to most families, including those with respectful children.

Chewie came in as a stray, with matted fur and signs of an old hip injury likely from puppyhood. While he has mild arthritis, he's comfortable and mobile, and doesn't need surgery at the moment, just a soft place to rest, daily walks, and some joint support. He may need some surgery down the line and it will be very important to keep him trim and fit so as not to put extra strain on his joints. He's also house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is tolerant of grooming and vet handling.

Chewie doesn't care much for treats or toys-people are his reward. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved, Chewie is your guy.
