Marie is a sweet, calm girl with a gentle heart, and she's looking for a new family! She's had a rough start, so new places and faces can make her a little shy, but she warms up quickly. She appreciates being approached and talked to gently and prefers to come to you for pets and attention. Once she's comfortable, she's all about the snuggles!

Marie has lived with both cats and dogs, though we are not sure what these relationships looked like. Another down-to-earth feline or dog friend may be a good match. In shelter, we've discovered that she is sensitive to loud noises and will bark when there is a disturbance near her. Due to this, Marie would do best in a quieter, relaxed home where she can feel secure and loved. Marie is also very impressive on leash and enjoys slow walks that allow her to stop and smell the flowers.
