Honey Tea is a 10 months old female Large Mixed Breed who weighs 57 pounds.

Honey Tea is as sweet as her name! This beautiful girl will greet you with a wagging tail, regardless of whether you are best friends or complete strangers. She first came to us as a puppy after a rough start in life, and now she's looking for a forever family again through no fault of her own.

Honey Tea is a respectful, affectionate dog who can settle nicely when needed, but she's still an adolescent and will thrive with regular exercise, enrichment, and brain games. She has shown some reactivity toward other dogs, so if you have a canine companion we're happy to help with introductions at the shelter. Her history with cats is unknown, so slow, careful introductions would be important. Honey has lived with children before and would love some smaller humans to spend her days with! We still recommend supervised interactions, though. Honey Tea may also show some mild resource guarding and would benefit from continued positive-reinforcement training.

If you're looking for an everyday morning (and afternoon.. and evening) pick-me-up, Honey will be your cup of tea!
