Meet Braunnie, a lovable Golden Retriever with a big heart, a goofy streak, and enough full-body wiggles to brighten anyone's day!

This handsome guy absolutely adores people and loves being part of the action. Whether he's greeting friends, heading out for a walk, or proudly carrying around one of his favourite toys, Braunnie approaches life with enthusiasm. He's happiest when he has something to hold in his mouth, and you'll often find him proudly showing off a stuffed toy as he follows his people around.

Braunnie is an affectionate and social dog who enjoys spending time with his humans, but like many dogs, he can become overwhelmed when he's excited or stressed. When big feelings take over, he may try to grab clothing or hold onto sleeves as a coping mechanism. His new family should be prepared to continue helping him learn more appropriate ways to manage his excitement!

Before coming into our care, Braunnie lived with another large breed dog, however, his interactions with this dog were not always positive. Braunnie has also displayed dog reactivity in shelter and on walks. We would be happy to try an introduction with any resident dogs here, though! He has not lived with cats before and any children in the home should be at least 13.

Braunnie is looking for a patient, understanding home that will celebrate his progress, appreciate his quirky personality, and help him continue building confidence. In return, you'll get a loyal companion who will greet you every day like you're the best thing that's ever happened to him.

A little bit about Braunnie:
- Kids: 13+ due to excitement levels.
- Cats/Small Animals: Never met cats. All introductions should be done slowly and all interactions supervised
- Dogs: Previously lived and came in with large breed dog. Potential for another dog in home with successful dog-to-dog interaction.
