Meet Diesel!
Diesel is an incredibly affectionate boy whose favorite place in the world is right beside his people. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or curling up in bed, he's happiest when he can be close to his humans. If you're looking for a true cuddle bug, Diesel is your guy.
He also has a playful side and loves to have fun. He could likely enjoy a home with another friendly dog, as he seems to appreciate having a canine companion to play and relax with.
Diesel is still working on his leash manners, but he is a quick learner and has already come a long way. He enjoys getting out for adventures and exploring the neighborhood, and with continued guidance he is sure to keep improving.
Diesel can have troubles sharing his stuff sometimes, but Calgary Humane Society supports adopters for the lifetime of their pets and can help provide advice and online resources. There is also a free one-hour consultation with the behaviour department for every adolescent or adult dog that is adopted from CHS!
Overall, Diesel is a loving, loyal companion with so much affection to give. He'll make an amazing addition to the right family.

A little bit about Diesel:
Kids: Previously lived with older children (10+ and 14) and was noted to be friendly and playful. Older, dog-savvy children recommended as he benefits from people who can read and respect his body language. All interactions should be supervised.
Cats/Small Animals: No known history with cats.
Dogs: Has potential for another dog in home with similar energy and playstyles!
