Maya is a tiny senior sweetheart with a big love for comfort and companionship. At 12 years old, she is looking for a calm, caring home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by kindness and stability. In new environments, Maya may feel a little nervous with sudden sounds or movement, but she quickly seeks comfort and loves to curl up close for reassurance. Once she feels safe, her affectionate side shines through-she is happiest in a warm lap, soaking up gentle pets and attention. Maya is calm in her kennel and enjoys quiet connection with her people. She has shown signs of separation stress in the past, so she will do best in a home where she can have company and a predictable routine. Maya is a delicate, loving soul who is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a very lucky home willing to give her the gentle senior care she deserves.

A little bit about Maya:
-Kids: Limited history with children. Older recommended to be able to understand appropriate dog interactions and to ensure dog is not overwhelmed. All interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult.
-Cats/Small Animals: Has lived with cats before. All introductions should be done slowly over multiple sessions and carefully supervised.
-Dogs: Limited history with other dogs. Potential for home with select other dog pending successful dog-to-dog interaction.
