Meet Nahri, a sweet and energetic girl who's ready to start her next adventure! As a former stray, her past is a bit of a mystery, but she has shown us what a lovely dog she is during her time in shelter.

Nahri may be shy when meeting new people, but a little patience (and a few tasty treats) goes a long way. Once she starts to trust you, she'll gently nudge your hand for pets and may even try to climb into your lap (despite not exactly being lap-dog sized)!

When she's comfortable, Nahri's playful, goofy and active personality shines through. She enjoys enrichment activities, walks, and would likely make an excellent hiking and adventure companion. Since she may never have lived in a home before, she'll need time and guidance as she learns the ropes of family life. She's food-motivated and eager to please, so we're confident she'll learn the basics in no time with some positive reinforcement training! Her history with children, cats, and other dogs is unknown, so any introductions should be slow, positive, and supervised.
