Bonnie's story started on the side of a highway, where she was found caring for her puppies. Now that her babies are ready for their own adventures, it's finally Bonnie's turn to be someone's baby! This affectionate girl is a certified people pup who wants to be wherever you are - if she had her way, she'd be your shadow all day long. Belly rubs are her absolute favourite, and she'll flop on her back to demand them from anyone! When she's feeling playful, Bonnie loves a good game of fetch and brings the ball right back for another throw. She's also a big fan of pools and splashing around, making her the perfect partner for hikes, camping trips, and outdoor adventures!

Bonnie can be nervous in new situations and has shown signs of separation stress, so she's looking for a patient, dog-savvy home where someone is around most of the time (and is okay with having ZERO personal space). She has shown a bit more caution around men, but as long as they let her approach in her own time, she's quick to ask for scratches. Her history with other animals and children is unknown, so we are recommending slow, supervised introductions and interactions with other creatures (furry or otherwise).
