Copper is a 9 months old male Beagle who weighs 24 pounds.

Copper is a curious young dog who is still learning about the world and growing in confidence every day. He really enjoys getting out for walks and exploring his surroundings, though he can be a little unsure in some situations and prefers to approach new experiences at his own pace. Copper is very food motivated, which is a great tool for helping him learn, build confidence, and create positive associations with new experiences.
Like many adolescent dogs, Copper is still working on his manners and can occasionally get a little mouthy. He will benefit from appropriate toys, enrichment, and positive outlets to keep his busy young mind engaged.
With positive guidance and plenty of opportunities to learn, this young guy has lots of potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Kids: Previously lived with an older child (12+). All interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult.
Cats/Small Animals: Unknown history with cats or small animals.
Dogs: Unknown history with other dogs. Potential to live with a select dog pending a successful dog-to-dog introduction. Resources should be carefully managed due to Copper's history of resource guarding.
